Why help Haiti’s children?

The children of Haiti are no different than the children in America EXCEPT that Haiti is the poorest country in the Americas and the 3rd poorest country in the world.

In Haiti there are no Food Stamps, No Head Start, No Medicaid, No Public Health Care, Emergency Food and Shelter Program or Public Housing. No publicly funded education.

The majority of the children in Haiti live in houses with dirt floors, no electricity, no bathrooms, and go to bed hungry many nights. This is why we feed them a healthy nutritious meal every school day.

They are wonderful kids, smart, happy, polite, respectful and hopeful, but can't attend school without some help.

It is our goal at Gospel4Haiti to provide scholarships to as many of the kids in our group as possible.  The fee for one year of school, which includes supplies and uniforms, is $258.00.
