Summer Camp 2019

After volunteering at a summer camp with Evergreen Bible Camp, Lorventzky decided to bring the idea back to Haiti. This became the first Summer Bible Camp many of these children had ever experienced.

We initially planned to host 50 campers since this was our first camp experience, but we were overwhelmed by the number of children who wanted to participate. During the five-day camp, we simply did not have enough space for everyone.

What began as an idea quickly became a life-changing reality for many children in Haiti. Today, the camp has grown into a cherished tradition that children, staff, and the surrounding community eagerly look forward to every summer. We continue to travel there regularly to help run the camp and support our local staff in any way we can.

Summer Camp 2021

This was our second summer camp, and it ran much better than the first. Phyllis and Abby contributed greatly to the success of this year’s camp, bringing valuable experience in planning and leading camp activities. We were blessed to welcome over 100 campers.

Matthew 28:19–20

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (ESV)
